Getting back to the blog!

I don’t know about y’all, but after our class last night, it took a while to get my brain to settle down. What an engaging couple of hours of conversation! Now it’s time to keep that conversation going!

I thought I’d start with a link that Mindy Haidle brought to our attention during her presentation. Check out Mindswarms “video surveys” at https://www.mindswarms.com/for-researchers/how-mobile-video-surveys-work. Talk about qualitative research with a twist, with the use of mobile! Like Joe mentioned last night, imagine how much more difficult it was to collect data 30 years ago. Imagine what it might be like 30 years from NOW… when they’ll be talking about us like we’re dinosaurs, getting excited about mobile video.

What do YOU think about this method and its validity? Feel free to look through the website and gather what you can. How might you use it in your research???

And, don’t forget to look up Mindy in LinkedIn and offer her a connection! What a great resource.
