Strategically Communicating

The Oregon Athletic Department has pretty impressive Search Engine Optimization. A Google search for ‘ducks’ returned the AD website (goducks.com) as the top hit, listing a bunch of websites about real ducks, hunting ducks, etc… below. Also, every search I made involving UO athletics, Oregon athletics, Duck sports, and University of Oregon athletics also returned the AD website as the top hit. While I believe the website is in dire need of a makeover, it would be hard to make the SEO for the AD website any more, well, optimized. The website gets a lot of traffic, especially since the BCS, probably accounting for its popularity on Google.
