Are your heads still spinning?

Finally, don’t forget to add your great finds to our blog!  See you tomorrow.

Hey guys. I wanted to post a link to the Let’s Colour Project. Its a worldwide initiative from Dulux, Dulux Valentine, Coral, Flexa and Marshall to transform grey spaces with colorful paint. Their mission is to spread color all over the world by working together with local communities to paint streets, houses, schools and squares. Their blog is great for inspiration and their artwork is just phenomenal so I thought I’d share it if you guys need some inspiration for your creativity 🙂

While carving my pumpkin the other night, I impulsively started munching on the raw inside of the pumpkin. Sounds gross? Well it was actually pretty good! So i started thinking about ways to turn the insides of your carved pumpkin into some really great & healthy pumpkin recipes. I am going to post some of my favorite pumpkin recipes on my blog (hopefully with pictures from my own attempts to cook), but for now I thought I’d provide a link to list of several of pumpkin recipes … . http://www.healthdiaries.com/eatthis/8-healthy-creative-pumpkin-recipes.html

Check out my blog for the best ways to prepare pumpkin seeds, pumpkin soup, stewed pumpkin as well as the names of local restaurants that serve some of my favorite pumpkin foods. 🙂 Tis the season for pumpkin!

Hello bloggers! I found an interesting article on mashable about viral videos that is pretty relevant to what we have been discussing in class (http://mashable.com/2010/10/19/viral-video-science/). It gives three tips for how to make any video go viral, but after reading it and looking at the examples, I thought it could be applied to our blogging and twittering. It discusses how the use of emotions, useful information, shareability, and strategy are all important for creating something that people will want to engage in. I was surprised that a commercial for the video game, Halo, could keep my attention even though I am the farthest from a video game fan. Amazing how the use of music can change the feel of an advertisement. Let me know what you think of the videos they used as examples!
